Scrapbook Journaling

Getting Groovy With It | by Guest Demoer Lee Brehon

Hello everyone, my name is Lee Brehon aka www.createalways.com and I have been a scrapbooker for at least 10 yrs now. My creative pursuits are primarily scrapbooking related,

but more recently I have been following my heart and working alot more with fabric, yarns, paints and markers. I am delighted to participating and sharing this event with all of you.

And look forward to hanging out with you here alot more often. My tutorial today was really inspired by the MOD 1960’s feel, you know tie dye, lime green, blues, pinks and because

I never start with any particular idea in mind, I just sit and create this is what happened at my work desk today – I hope that the following will inspire you to give the following idea a try.

Supplies: tissue paper, 3 - Tim Holtz glimmer mists , mod podge , 1- 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of white cardstock, paint brush.

1. Cut a piece of tissue paper that measures at least 8 1/2 X 11'” in size and crumple into a ball.

2. Spray the crumpled tissue paper with all three different colors of mist, unfold and spray again and again until desired amount of mist has been applied.

3. Apply mod podge to your 8 1/2 X 11” white cardstock, while the mod podge is still wet, lay your colored tissue paper on top of the mod podged cardstock and apply a thin layer of mod podge
on top to seal it.

4. When your new MOD paper is dry – cut this into four equal parts and voila, you have created a beautiful background paper to use on a scrapbooking page or card.
